We are a friendly Community Centre in the heart of Cliftonville Margate Kent. We offer help and advice through our professional welfare officers on a wide range of social issues such as Housing, Benefits, Migrant Helpline, NHS Non-Smoking Clinic and a Childrens Centre.
Our Aims:
The object of the Centre is to promote the benefits of the local community of Cliftonville and the surrounding area without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together with local inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and statutory organisations in a common effort to advance education, improve health and social welfare, provide opportunities for creative leisure time with the object of improving ther conditions of life for the community, with a distinct emphasis on helping people to help themselves.
We endeavouir to ensure: the premises are maintained in good order; are accessible to people of all ages and disabilities; a safe environment; a high quality and friendly service to all users and inquirers by our staff, volunteers and agencies working with us in the Centre.
Activities such as Unity Group (Community Participation for Mental Health), Clothing Distribution, Migrant Helpline, Ex-Service Men's Club, Internet Cafe and Refresments Cafe, plus much more are also available.
